DELUXX Cinema Frame Screen SlimFrame 221 x 124cm, 100" - DARKVISION
The high contrast revolution from Deluxx for ALL projection types
The Cinema Slimframe is the latest generation of frame screens from DELUXX.
Years of further development and experience in screen construction have resulted in this high-quality version of our Cinema Frame.
The Deluxx 0.8 Gain contrast fabric "DARKVISION" filters out the disturbing stray light and focuses the projection light onto the viewer. The Deluxx Cinema SlimFrame - DARKVISION thus combines optimum fabric properties with a reference image in the home cinema.
The Deluxx DARKVISION SlimFrame ALR is a high-quality, framed screen with a velvet-coated 12mm cover - LED TV design up to 160". The screen fabric has been specially developed to maximise black levels and in-picture contrast. You can say goodbye to typical "wash-out effects" or "grey haze" even in a slightly darkened room. The Deluxx Contrast Cloth increases the black level by up to a factor of 8. Experience your projector in a new way: plastic FullHD and 4K HDR films like in the cinema are possible.
DELUXX's Cinema SlimFrame features a strong extruded aluminium frame and uses the thinnest visible edge on the market for maximum viewing with minimum build size . With a framed edge of just 12mm, the ultra-slim framing offers a sleek and sophisticated look that is ideal for modern home cinema applications but also commercial applications.
Its unique design resembles a high-quality LED TV but allows for a significantly larger viewing area. It effectively reflects incident light from the projector to the viewer and effectively absorbs ambient light to noticeably improve the brightness and contrast of the image.
In general, projection is comparatively effective in protecting the human eye, as reflected light has been shown to be healthier for the viewing eye than actively shining light as with an LED TV.
With advanced surface coating technology, the DELUXX Cinema Framed Screen SlimFrame DarkVision looks like new for decades and has a lifespan of well over 10 years. (for typical indoor use)
Deluxx's DARKVISION contrast cloth has been developed with an extremely fine surface structure and is already suitable for 8K as well as being almost 100% colour neutral.

Aspect Ratio | 16:9 Aspect Ratio Format: The projected image is output in a format (aspect ratio) specified by the projector. The format is also determined by the resolution of the projector (see also the entry "Resolution"). The screen format is usually selected on the basis of the format of the beamer image. The most common formats are 4:3, 16:9 and 16:10. |
Viewable Area - Width | 221 cm Viewable Area - Width Visible surface: The usable surface of a screen is the coated part of the cloth on which the image is projected. The frame and box width are always a few centimetres wider than the usable surface of the screen. |
Viewable Area - Height | 124 cm Viewable Area - Height Visible surface: The usable surface of a screen is the coated part of the cloth on which the image is projected. The frame and box width are always a few centimetres wider than the usable surface of the screen. Leader: The leader or offset is the part above the screen. This allows the upper vertical area of the fabric of a roller screen to be limited and freely determined within certain limits. The leading edge prevents the visible area of the screen from being set too high when a screen is positioned in rooms with high ceilings. |
Gain factor | 0.8 Gain factor Gain factor: The gain factor (or also called gain) is used to assess the reflection behaviour of screens and describes the light gain achieved in contrast to the brightness of the projector. A gain factor of 1.2 indicates that a screen reflects 1.2 times more in a given direction than a defined white standard surface. The gain factor is always given for the straight viewing angle of 0 degrees. Hot spot: A hot spot is a brightening in the centre of the image on a screen. These disturbing artefacts are created by the direct visibility of the projector lamp and only occur on screens with a very high gain factor (1.8 to 2.0). |
Viewing angle - Horizontal | 150° Viewing angle - Horizontal Viewing angle: The viewing angle indicates the distance from the centre line at which the projected image is perceived as being of good quality without restrictions. As a rule, the horizontal viewing angle is specified. A good viewing angle lies within a range of 110 to 130 degrees from the centre of the picture, i.e. 55 to 65 degrees to the left and 65 to the right. If you are outside the viewing angle, the picture deteriorates disproportionately. |
