Printers by application area
As with many devices, there are also printers for specific areas of application. An office printer, for example, is only partially suitable for printing photos. There are special photo printers for this purpose. These often differ in types of ink, such as photo ink. It provides an even more brilliant reproduction of photos. An office printer, on the other hand, must be equipped with other advantages, such as a large paper tray or particularly high-yield cartridges. Business printers are also often multifunctional. You can use them to send, copy and scan faxes. This often applies to home office printers as well, but on a smaller scale. A popular term for a printer that is at home in both worlds is the SoHo printer, which stands for Small Office and Home Office.
