A spring roller screen works much like a snap roller blind. The roller blind is constantly under tension and automatically retracts into the screen box. It is therefore required for mounting a fixture on which you can hook the screen at both ends, otherwise it will roll straight back up! The spring roller screen can usually be mounted on the ceiling or wall, you will usually find the mounting points at the ends of the housing. For a secure attachment of the spring roller screen, a hook or a hook screw is recommended this will prevents unwanted loosening of the screen. Of course, this must be taken into account when assembling the screen, as the hook also remains permanently in the wall and thus possibly becomes a disruptive factor when the spring roller screen has been retracted.
