The new version of the celexon floor-mounted high-contrast projection screen for ultra-short-throw projection is here.
During product development, we took the wishes and feedback of our customers to heart and have noticeably improved the projection screen in terms of its technical, internal and external features.

The new celexon UST high-contrast floor-standing projection screen - HomeCinema Plus is now much better suited for integration into or attachment to furniture.
In combination with a modern ultra-short-throw projector, it becomes a true laser TV and thus an alternative to classic TV sets, which can visibly disrupt your interior design when not in use.

The highlight remains: when not in use, the screen disappears almost completely from view, as it does not need to be mounted on the wall or ceiling, but disappears into or behind your lowboard. This allows you to realise the dream of a rollable 80-130" TV that is only visible when in use.

It is difficult to combine ever larger images with classic projection screens and TVs with high-quality living room design. Visually, a TV >75" often looks unattractive when switched off, disrupts the interior design and takes up wall space that could be better designed or used for other furnishings.

With our new CLR floor-mounted projection screen and a UST projector, you can get around this problem in a truly impressive way. The housing design with its clean lines is not only easier to install in or on furniture than the previous version, it also looks great in minimalist room designs.

celexon's new floor scissor screen offers you smart features that represent significant added value over similar products from other suppliers, both visually and technically.

One highlight is the newly developed electric housing flap, which is driven by a separate motor and protects the screen from environmental influences when not in use, leaving an unobtrusive look in the room or furniture and ensuring that your laser TV experience impresses from the very first second it is extended.

For integration into a lowboard, our new floor scissor projection screen has carrying handles integrated invisibly into the housing, so that you can insert the screen easily and safely from above. It is just as easy to remove again, for example if you want to install new or additional AV components or lay new cables.

Our improved scissor hinge mechanism is as smart as it is useful. Highly stable, die-cast aluminium alloy hinges ensure an extremely long service life and many thousands of up/down movement cycles. With celexon's floor scissor projection screens from the HomeCinema Plus series, you are purchasing a product that will give you many years of great cinema.

In addition to all the external and mechanical improvements, we have of course also dedicated our development to our CLR high-contrast fabric. A newly developed microscopic light grid structure, manufactured using new production processes, produces up to 20% brighter images, delivers visibly more "punch" and colour contrast, and is therefore even more suitable than ever before as a true TV replacement in your living room.

We have significantly increased the number of directional reflective slats on the fabric and improved the coating of the absorbent and ambient light-deflecting upper areas of the slats, thus producing outstanding projection images in almost all lighting conditions. A laser TV with the new UST floor scissor projection screen from celexon is not only easy on the eyes, it also protects them.

Even modern ultra-short-throw projection enjoys maximum image contrast and the deepest possible black level. For the "OLED" effect, a contrast fabric such as that of the celexon CLR HomeCinema Plus series is essential, as it significantly optimises the black level. In addition, annoying scattered and residual light is minimised; ceiling light in particular can be reduced by up to 90%.

celexon's black grid CLR high-contrast fabric significantly improves the UST (ultra short throw) projector image: the unique, multi-layer fabric design visibly increases the black level and effectively minimises the "grey veil" caused by extraneous light in the room. Ambient light is actively deflected away from the surface or absorbed, ensuring a high-contrast image even in residual light conditions (lamps or daylight). You will be amazed and enjoy unprecedented image sizes as a TV replacement, which also saves costs, e.g. for a separate TV.

Our new "micron scale black grid" UST contrast fabric is ideal for all current (Full HD & 4K) and future projectors with resolutions up to 8K thanks to its special fabric structure. The unrestricted viewing angle stability of up to 170 degrees is particularly noteworthy, allowing all viewers on the sofa to enjoy true large-screen TV without restriction.

With the new series, we offer the proven black, perfect for dedicated home cinema rooms, and a subtle white for the living room and meeting rooms as a housing colour at no extra charge.

Our proven cable tensioning system ensures the flatness essential for ultra-short-throw projection without annoying dog-ears at the edges. For even better tension across the entire surface, we have cut the side tension tabs concave. Excellent flatness will give you undisturbed short-throw projection.

But that's not all: we have extensively revised the fabric coating and achieved a unique softness with new material blends for the backing material. This means that horizontal stripes and marks from the winding shaft or the bonding of the lead-in and fabric are a thing of the past.

celexon installation tips: For ease of use, our experts recommend a trigger connection. The necessary USB trigger cable is included in the scope of delivery and can be connected to the USB-enabled ultra-short-throw projector so that the screen automatically rises when the projector is switched on and retracts when the projector is switched off.

The included mounting brackets can be tilted continuously by +/- 1.5°. Use this feature to align your projection screen perfectly with the projector, eliminating the need for image-degrading digital keystone correction via your projector for pixel-precise images in full, untouched resolution.

Design

The high-quality housing has a linear design and blends inconspicuously into modern living environments. Thanks to its cubist shape, the projection screen can be easily integrated into furniture and does not disturb the living environment, especially when retracted.

Installation:

Our electric floor scissor projection screen can be installed safely, easily and quickly.

The choice is yours: simply place the projection screen on the floor, on or behind your sideboard or on the wall, connect the power supply and the projection screen is ready for use. For an even more discreet installation, you can optimally integrate the straight screen housing into a piece of furniture of your choice – the side control units and the power connection are designed to take up little space in the furniture and do not protrude. The integrated carrying handles make handling much easier.
