Not every display is equally suitable for use on the exhibition stand. Depending on the content, the displays must offer the appropriate shape, dimensions, resolution and brightness . 4K content on a display that is too small, for example, will not have the intended effect. To the displays

Brightness

Depending on the location of the shop window, the display should offer 500 cd/m² or higher brightness. For stronger light incidence, 800 cd/m² are advisable.

Image resolution

Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) in 16:9 format or 4K (3,840 x 2,160) in 16:9 format. The resolution should be based on the size of the display and the content shown.

Pivot function

For many exhibition stands, it is crucial that the display can be operated vertically rather than horizontally, for example when showing fashion. Look for this feature when purchasing the display if vertical installation of the display is desired.

Expert Tip:

If the display is not permanently integrated into the stand and changes its position frequently, for example because it is used interactively, use a rolling stand. This allows you to move the display easily and still provides a secure hold.

Image resolution

PoE

In many areas, a separate power supply for the signage player is not possible. Therefore, it makes sense if it supports PoE (Power over Ethernet). In this way, it is supplied with power via the LAN cable. It is important here that sufficient power is fed into the network.
