 Innovative image technologies

• Acer ColorBoost 3D: The innovative combination of a continuously improved image processing algorithm, the latest DLP chipset, an optimised design of the 6-segment colour wheel and sophisticated light control technology. This enables Acer projectors to project true-to-life colours throughout their entire life cycle, in both 2D and 3D modes.
• Acer LumiSense: Acer LumiSensetechnology uses an ambient light sensor to detect the brightness in the projection environment and optimally adjust the brightness and colour saturation accordingly. In addition, Acer LumiSense also analyses the projected image and dynamically optimises the quality of the displayed image.
• ISF ccc certified: Calibration according to ISF ccc (Imaging Science Foundation) can be performed by specially trained technicians. This calibration offers you an absolutely perfect image in two special modes for the lighting conditions prevailing in your home cinema. This makes the Acer H6518Sti ideal for home cinema use.

Home cinema experience in 3D and cinema quality

The ultimate cinema experience is made possible by the integrated HDMI 3D standard . This allows 3D content to be transmitted directly from suitable playback devices such as 3D Blu-ray players, set-top boxes or game consoles without the need for an additional PC. With Acer 3D shutter glasses, you can watch Blu-ray 3D films and 3D TV programmes in your own living room on a screen size of up to 300". Experience true cinema thanks to original 24p playback: the Acer projector plays Blu-ray films at 24 frames per second in the original cinema format without any jerkiness, just as they were shot on set. This allows you to watch 24p films through the eyes of the director.

Intelligent functions for greater convenience

Automatic functions make the projectors much easier to use. With the AC Power On function, the projector switches on automatically as soon as it is connected to the power supply. This means you no longer have to switch the device on separately and allows you to start it directly by switching on the power in the meeting room, for example. The HDMI power on function is just as convenient: the projector is able to switch itself on automatically as soon as it receives a signal via HDMI or VGA. You no longer need to start the projector separately, but can simply switch on your notebook, receiver or game console, and the projector will activate automatically.

Hidden connection for wireless freedom

The Acer Hidden Port is located under the cover of the housing and allows you to connect the Acer Wireless CAST MWA3 or the Acer Wireless HDKit MWiHD1 to the HDMI/MHL connection there for wireless projection. Thanks to the micro USB power supply, Google Chromecast is also supported, for example.
