Barco ClickShare USB-C Extension over CAT Kit

Reliable signal transmission with the Barco ClickShare USB-C extension kit via CAT

For professional meeting rooms, you need technology that works invisibly in the background whilst delivering top performance. Long cable runs and signal loss often pose a major challenge during installation. The Barco ClickShare USB-C Extension Kit via CAT solves precisely this problem by extending your USB and DisplayPort connections over long distances without any loss of quality. This allows you to connect the ClickShare Hub seamlessly to the Control Panel or participants’ devices. Opt for tidy cabling and equip your meeting room for professional presentations.

The benefits of the Barco ClickShare USB-C extension kit via CAT at a glance:

• Seamless extension: Bridge distances of up to 40 metres for flexible room layout thanks to support for standard CAT 5e, CAT 6 or CAT 7 cables.
• Crystal-clear 4K content sharing: Share your presentations and videos in high-resolution 4K quality at 30 hertz for a professional visual presentation.
• Power supply included: Enjoy easy installation, as power is supplied directly via the base unit, meaning you don’t need an additional power adaptor.
• Simultaneous charging: Ensure uninterrupted meetings by connecting an external power supply, which will charge your connected device directly.

Flexible room layout thanks to long transmission distances

Set up your conference system exactly to suit your spatial requirements, without being restricted by short cables. The use of standard CAT cables allows for a signal extension of up to 40 metres between the ClickShare Hub and the participant’s laptop. When connecting the Base Unit to the Control Panel, distances of up to 70 metres are even possible. This combination of HDBaseT technology and standard cables ensures neat and concealed cabling throughout the room. You avoid trip hazards and cluttered conference tables, whilst the signal remains stable at all times. This allows you to create a professional environment for all participants, even in large meeting rooms.

Brilliant presentations thanks to 4K content sharing

Present your content in a quality that will impress your clients and colleagues. Transmission via USB-C and DisplayPort enables high-resolution 4K content sharing at 30 hertz. Combined with the extension kit’s stable signal transmission, you can ensure that videos, graphics and fine text details are displayed precisely on the screen. You’ll benefit from this clear and interference-free display, particularly during important meetings or client presentations. You can share your content via a wired connection at the highest resolution, ensuring that every piece of visual information reaches your audience accurately. The combination of high bandwidth and lossless transmission guarantees consistently professional results.

Smart power management for long meetings

Rely on technology that actively supports your workflows. The extension kit features a particularly well-designed power supply. In the standard configuration, the transmitter and receiver modules draw their power directly from the ClickShare Hub, saving you the hassle of installing additional sockets and power adaptors. For particularly long conferences, the system offers another key advantage. With an external USB-C power supply, the kit charges your connected laptop during the presentation. You no longer need to worry about running out of battery in the middle of a meeting and can focus entirely on your content. This clever power management makes day-to-day conferencing noticeably easier.
