Versatility for web conferences and professional productions
MAX adapts seamlessly to a wide range of applications. Thanks to its HDMI and NDI outputs, it integrates equally well into simple video meetings or complex IP production environments. With its ultra-low latency and powerful pan-tilt-zoom functions, it is ideal for live streams, recordings and hybrid events. Enjoy crystal-clear images and an intelligent wide-angle lens that captures even large conference or event spaces perfectly.

Seamless integration with the BirdDog POD for unified communications
The optionally available BirdDog POD enables NDI sources to beeasily connected via USB-C, allowing up to four professional cameras to be used as high-resolution UVC webcams on platforms such as Zoom, Teams and other conferencing solutions. It automatically converts NDI streams into a UVC signal – no additional software or drivers are required. Thanks to one-click source selection, video sources can be switched conveniently, facilitating dynamic presentations, hybrid events and multi-camera conferences. Its compact design is ideal for both fixed installations and mobile set-ups, and when combined with MAX, it creates a powerful video workflow solution.
Advanced technology and simple control
The integrated AI tracking function and automatic video framing technology ensure that speakers are always perfectly framed. Each device is clearly labelled with an E-Ink label, providing added clarity in larger setups. Users can choose between the supplied IR remote, IP and serial control, API 2.0, and support for various hardware controllers (e.g. BirdDog KBD, Stream Deck or Xbox controllers). Broad software compatibility, including TriCaster, vMix and OBS, rounds off the overall package.
Sustainability thanks to Ocean-Bound Plastics
In the manufacture of the MAX, BirdDog utilises ocean-bound plastics, thereby minimising the amount of plastic that might otherwise end up in the oceans. The accessories also impress with their resource-efficient materials, such as recycled cardboard packaging and soya-based ink. The MAX is also extremely energy-efficient, which not only protects the environment but also reduces running costs in the long term.
Conclusion: A camera that ticks all the boxes
The BirdDog MAX camera offers the performance of a production camera and the simplicity of a webcam, all combined in an elegantly designed housing. With a wide range of connections and control options, sustainable construction and built-in software freedom, the MAX is perfectly equipped for professional video meetings, live productions and everything in between.
