Product information
The celexon UHD Optical Fibre HDMI cable is HDMI 2.1-compliant and therefore transmits signals at speeds of up to 48 Gbps with resolutions of up to 8K (7680x4320p @60Hz with up to 12-bit colour depth) and 4K (4096x2160p @120Hz with up to 12-bit colour depth).
The hybrid fibre-optic cable, featuring 4 optical fibres and 8 copper wires, enables interference-free transmission of high data rates even over very long distances. To achieve this, the electrical signal in the “Source” connector is converted into light pulses, which are transmitted via the optical fibres to the “Display” connector, where they are converted back into an electrical signal. It
is therefore important to ensure the cable is installed in the correct direction.

With a diameter of 5.5 mm, celexon’s cable is very thin. With a minimum bending radius of 30 mm and 10 bends across the entire cable, it offers a high degree of flexibility during installation. The very thin and narrow connector allows the cable to be plugged in even in hard-to-reach places. Furthermore, no other nearby ports are obscured when this connector is plugged in.
With the help of new dynamic HDR (High Dynamic Range) technologies such as Dolby Vision and HDR10+, not only can a wider dynamic range and colour gamut be displayed, making the picture more brilliant and detailed, but image optimisation is also tailored more individually to each image, meaning that rapid colour changes between high contrasts (e.g. image transitions from white to black) are rendered more naturally.*
The Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) is the new generation of ARC and is included in the HDMI 2.1 specification. This extension allows up to 32 audio channels to be transmitted with uncompressed 24-bit/192kHz data streams at up to 38 Mbps. Thanks to this enormous increase in bandwidth and speed, all audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X can be transmitted without compression.*

Another feature of this cable is Automatic Low Latency Mode (ALLM), which will be of particular interest to gamers. This reduces latency by removing advanced video processing, thereby ensuring the fastest possible display response.
In addition to an ALLM-compatible television, this requires that the source devices provide a high-quality video signal that can be reproduced immediately by the display. This ensures that no noticeable delay is perceived between pressing a button on the controller and the response time on screen. This enables an even more direct and precise gaming experience.
All connected and ALLM-capable devices automatically switch to the appropriate mode via a handshake, ensuring the shortest possible latency. Even with an AV receiver in the signal path, no additional settings need to be made.*

Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) is another feature introduced by the HDMI 2.1 specification. This synchronises the refresh rate of the source device and the output device to prevent stuttering and tearing in the image.
The refresh rate can vary freely between 30Hz and 144Hz and adjust optimally to reproduce smooth and as sharp an image as possible.
Without VRR, for example in video games, parts of the image may overlap and several sections of the image may build up one after the other (tearing). The only alternative to avoiding these artefacts without VRR would be to completely throttle the frame rate or set a lower resolution, which would significantly impair the picture quality.*

The additional Ethernet channel allows internet-enabled AV components to be connected to the home network using only an HDMI cable. It is therefore sufficient for the television to be connected to the network via cable. The AV receiver or Blu-ray player then receives not only the actual video signal but also the network signal via the HDMI cable. This eliminates the need for a network switch and additional cables.*

All celexon UHD HDMI fibre optic cables are individually tested for functionality using high-quality measuring equipment. Particular attention is paid to the EBR (Error Bit Rate), and only cables with maximum data transfer capacity are sold.
