Two DALI channels – maximum flexibility in lighting control

The DIN-DALI-2 enables control of two separate DALI circuits, each with up to 64 addressable luminaires. Direct control of the digital ballasts allows individual control of each individual light source, independently of the power supply. This makes the DIN-DALI-2 ideal for complex lighting installations with variable zoning, especially in modern office, educational or retail spaces.

Integrated power supply – a genuine single-cable solution

Unlike many other DALI controllers, the DIN-DALI-2 does not require a separate power supply for the DALI bus system. Whether via Cresnet or PoE – the device fully supplies the bus and thus enables particularly simple wiring. The choice between the two operating modes is conveniently made via a switch on the device, which also makes the DIN-DALI-2 suitable for retrofitting solutions with existing CAT5 cabling.

Intuitive commissioning with the Crestron DALI commissioning tool

A specially developed software tool is available for efficient system setup. With its wizard-based user interface, ballast addresses can be assigned, scenes created and group and brightness settings intuitively configured. A particularly practical feature: when replacing defective luminaires, the software automatically recognises new hardware and transfers all parameters to the replacement device at the click of a mouse.

Seamless integration into Crestron systems

Thanks to full support of Crestron D3 Pro® and SIMPL, controlling DALI luminaires with the DIN-DALI-2 is just as easy as controlling a conventional Crestron dimmer. The system completely dispenses with complex addressing protocols or user-defined programming, integrating seamlessly into existing Crestron automation solutions.

Robust design for the control cabinet

Installation is quick and easy on standard DIN rails. Screw terminals on the top and bottom make wiring easy, while the front panel provides central access to all controls and status displays – even when installed in enclosures with a 45 mm cut-out. An external override input offers additional security by allowing a defined lighting scene to be activated in the event of a fault.
