Elmo L-12G visualiser: 4K precision for schools and conference rooms
The Elmo L-12G visualiser helps teachers and lecturers to present complex learning content and objects with crystal-clear clarity, both in face-to-face and distance learning settings. Analogue documents, books or three-dimensional models are often difficult to make visible to an entire group. With its native 4K resolution and sophisticated mechanics, the L-12G effortlessly solves this problem, ensuring that all participants can easily follow every detail. Choose a first-class visualisation solutionand make your presentations more interactive than ever before.
Your benefits at a glance
- Crystal-clear 4K resolution: details, text and objects are displayed with exceptional clarity on screens and projectors thanks to the native 4K output.
- 192x total zoom: A 12x optical and 16x digital zoom bring even the smallest structures up close on the projection screen.
- Flexible articulated arm: The adjustable arm and pivotable camera head allow you to position the camera from any desired angle.
- Versatile connections: HDMI and RGB inputs and outputs allow image signals from external devices to be easily looped through.
Superb detail and precision when zooming in
Insufficient image sharpness makes it difficult to make out fine text or intricate details during training sessions and lectures. The Elmo L-12G visualiser overcomes this challenge thanks to its CMOS sensor with native 4K output and a frame rate of up to 60 frames per second. Combined with the 192x total zoom – comprising a 12x optical zoom and a 16x digital zoom – you can capture the smallest structures without any loss of quality. When you place printed text, circuit boards or scientific specimens under the lens, all details remain clearly visible, even from the back row. At the touch of a button, the automatic focus brings the subject into focus instantly. The result is a consistently clear image that captures attention and specifically aids understanding.
Maximum flexibility through well-designed ergonomics and connectivity
Cumbersome adjustments or fixed camera angles often hinder the smooth running of a presentation. Equipped with a sturdy, multi-adjustable articulated arm and a swivelling camera head, the L-12G adapts flexibly to all requirements. The generous capture area covers documents up to A3 format, whilst an integrated white LED ensures even illumination of the documents. Thanks to its wide range of connections, such as HDMI IN/OUT, RGB IN/OUT and USB-C, the system can be easily integrated into existing AV set-ups. If required, you can route the signal from a connected laptop directly to an interactive display or a projector. This versatility allows the camera to be tailored precisely to your workspace, minimising set-up times and enabling you to concentrate fully on your content.
Optimised for modern teaching and hybrid sessions
Seamless integration of digital tools is essential in both traditional classrooms and hybrid lectures. Thanks to the built-in microphone and USB interface, the visualiser can be used directly for video conferencing and online training sessions. Software solutions such as the free ELMO Interactive Toolbox (EIT) or the browser-based Image Mate + Cloud application expand your capabilities to include practical notes, live annotations and still-image comparisons. You can record photos and videos via an SD card or USB storage device to provide teaching materials for later review. An integrated masking and highlighting function also helps to direct learners’ attention specifically to certain areas of the image. This provides you with a comprehensive, all-round solution that both enriches face-to-face teaching and noticeably simplifies digital learning.
