PIN Security
Acer PIN Security allows you to protect your Acer projector from unauthorised use and theft by setting a PIN. A lost PIN can only be reset by Acer Service following verification of ownership.
Acer LumiSense
Acer LumiSense technology uses an ambient light sensor to detect the brightness of the projection environment and optimally adjust the brightness and colour saturation accordingly. In addition, Acer LumiSense also analyses the projected image and dynamically optimises the quality of the displayed image.
Automatic Keystone Correction
Thanks to automatic vertical keystone correction, Acer projectors automatically compensate for trapezoidal distortion when not positioned perfectly vertically, projecting a rectangular image.
Auto Ceiling Mount Correction
Auto Ceiling-Mount Correction: The integrated gravity sensor in the Acer projector detects when it has been mounted upside down on a ceiling and automatically rotates the projection by 180° without the need for additional settings in the menu.
AC Power On
With the AC Power On function, the projector is able to switch on automatically as soon as it is connected to the mains. You no longer need to switch on the projector separately; instead, you can start it up straight away, for example by switching on the power in the meeting room.
Wall Colour Compensation
Wall Colour Compensation: Wall colour compensation ensures the best picture quality on coloured projection surfaces such as blackboards and wallpaper. Five optimised wall colours can be easily compensated for via the menu without any further settings to ensure the best picture quality.
Auto Shutdown
The Auto Shutdown function automatically shuts down the Acer projector if no input signal is received after a preset time. This function can be customised via the menu and helps to save electricity and lamp life.
HDMI 3D
HDMI 3D: The built-in HDMI 1.4a standard enables the transmission of 3D content from compatible playback devices, such as 3D Blu-ray players, 3D set-top boxes and 3D games consoles, without the need for an additional PC. This means that, using the Acer 3D shutter glasses, you can watch 3D Blu-ray films and 3D TV programmes in the comfort of your own living room.
HDMI Power On
With the HDMI Power-On function, the projector is able to power on automatically as soon as it receives a signal via HDMI or VGA. You no longer need to switch on the projector separately; simply switch on your laptop, receiver or games console and the projector will power on automatically as well.
Bluelight Shield
BluelightShield enables users to reduce the amount of blue light to minimise the negative effects of blue light exposure. The projector features three filter levels, each suited to different scenarios. Each level also includes a dynamic mechanism that optimises the blue light level depending on the content. BluelightShield can reduce blue light by up to 30 per cent and protect your eyes.
Original 24p Playback
Experience a true cinema experience at 24 frames per second: the Acer projector plays Blu-ray films in the original cinema format, smoothly and just as they were shot on set. Watch 24p films through the director’s eyes.
Acer ColorBoost 3D
Acer ColorBoost 3D: Acer ColorBoost 3D is an innovative combination of a constantly improved image processing algorithm, the latest DLP chipset, an optimised design of the 6-segment colour wheel and sophisticated light control technology. This enables Acer projectors to project absolutely true-to-life colours throughout their entire lifespan, in both 2D and 3D modes.
