Finding the right screen size for your home
The optimum screen size depends above all on the distance between seats and the space available in the room. Because only if the screen size and distance are in harmony can the desired cinema feeling be created - without the picture appearing too small or details being lost.
As a rule of thumb, the seating distance should be around 1.5 to 2.5 times the width of the picture. At a distance of around 3 metres, for example, a projection screen of around 100 to 120 inches is ideal for an intense football experience.
The picture format also plays a role. For sports broadcasts and classic content, the 16:9 format is the best choice as it reflects the standard of modern broadcasts and makes optimum use of the image.
