DELUXX Cinema Frame screen SlimFrame 243 x 136cm, 110" - SOUNDVISION
The DELUXX SlimFrame is a high-quality frame screen with an extremely slim, velour-covered frame profile of 12mm width. This means the DELUXX SlimFrame is like having a flat-screen TV on your wall.
The base frame is screwed together from 4 aluminium profiles and is rigid and permanently dimensionally stable. The velour coating prevents reflections at the edges and ensures perfect image delimitation and fatigue-free viewing.
With the new SOUNDVISION fabric, DELUXX provides a very fine surface structure that is rarely found on acoustically transparent cloths. Made from high-precision woven fiberglass fibers, it creates a surface with extremely small acoustically transparent holes that can prevent a moiré effect. The picture is thus improved and noticeably more natural. DELUXX is so confident in the fabric, it is suitable for 4k projections.
The sound transmission reaches excellent values, up to 7,500Hz the attenuation is barely measurable 2-3db, up to 10,000Hz 5dB attenuation can be measured.
From 18,000Hz, the attenuation is just over 5dB and continues to increase with the frequency. The human ear hears on average up to 20,000 Hz. Very good values for the SOUNDVISION cloth.
A very homogeneous image reflection with a wide viewing angle of 160° makes this "TYPE D" (diffuse reflective) fabric, the ultimate choice for all projection systems.
The almost neutral gain of 1.1 offers a little brightens increase without falsifying colour values.

Aspect Ratio | 16:9 Aspect Ratio Format: The projected image is output in a format (aspect ratio) specified by the projector. The format is also determined by the resolution of the projector (see also the entry "Resolution"). The screen format is usually selected on the basis of the format of the beamer image. The most common formats are 4:3, 16:9 and 16:10. |
Viewable Area - Width | 243 cm Viewable Area - Width Visible surface: The usable surface of a screen is the coated part of the cloth on which the image is projected. The frame and box width are always a few centimetres wider than the usable surface of the screen. |
Viewable Area - Height | 136 cm Viewable Area - Height Visible surface: The usable surface of a screen is the coated part of the cloth on which the image is projected. The frame and box width are always a few centimetres wider than the usable surface of the screen. Leader: The leader or offset is the part above the screen. This allows the upper vertical area of the fabric of a roller screen to be limited and freely determined within certain limits. The leading edge prevents the visible area of the screen from being set too high when a screen is positioned in rooms with high ceilings. |
Gain factor | 1.1 Gain factor Gain factor: The gain factor (or also called gain) is used to assess the reflection behaviour of screens and describes the light gain achieved in contrast to the brightness of the projector. A gain factor of 1.2 indicates that a screen reflects 1.2 times more in a given direction than a defined white standard surface. The gain factor is always given for the straight viewing angle of 0 degrees. Hot spot: A hot spot is a brightening in the centre of the image on a screen. These disturbing artefacts are created by the direct visibility of the projector lamp and only occur on screens with a very high gain factor (1.8 to 2.0). |
Viewing angle - Horizontal | 160° Viewing angle - Horizontal Viewing angle: The viewing angle indicates the distance from the centre line at which the projected image is perceived as being of good quality without restrictions. As a rule, the horizontal viewing angle is specified. A good viewing angle lies within a range of 110 to 130 degrees from the centre of the picture, i.e. 55 to 65 degrees to the left and 65 to the right. If you are outside the viewing angle, the picture deteriorates disproportionately. |
