Interactive displays

The display is the central element of the interactive whiteboard system. To ensure the best possible visibility for all participants, it is therefore essential to select the right display size. This should be in relation to the size of the room.

In an educational context, we recommend interactive displays with a minimum size of 75 inches. However, for an even more legible display and improved interaction, screens with a size of 85 inches are preferable. Larger screens offer a wider field of view, which is particularly beneficial in large classrooms. Larger displays also increase the possibilities for collaboration, allowing several people to work on the display at the same time.

75 inch

A 75-inch display is suitable in smaller rooms for approx. 6-9 people. Optionally, the display can also be connected to a projector via an HDMI output, on which the image is transmitted. This allows the image to be displayed much larger.

85 inch

An 85-inch display is suitable for slightly larger classrooms and study rooms. In conjunction with magnetic whiteboards as blackboard wings, this combination is the ideal replacement for the classic blackboard.

98 inch

A 98-inch display is particularly suitable for large rooms where it is not possible to display a second image using a projector.

Mounting systems

Choosing the right mounting system is crucial for the functionality of the learning space. Fixed pylon systems offer a robust and durable solution and are ideal for rooms where the interactive display is intended to replace the classic chalkboard. Mobile trolleys, on the other hand, offer flexibility and can be easily moved within a room or from room to room, making them particularly suitable for multifunctional facilities or as a supplement to an existing board .

An adequate mounting system is important in order to be able to securely hold the display and any board wings. In addition to manual height adjustment for digital boards, electronic height adjustment is now also available.

Electronic system

Electronic mounting systems offer the advantage that they can be individually and easily adjusted to the desired height and precisely positioned without any manual effort.

Manual system

Classic manual pylon systems can easily be moved by hand. One advantage is that they can be moved at any time and do not require an additional power supply.

A pylon system usually consists of two metal columns to which a mounting system for interactive displays is attached. The system is suitable for screens in sizes of 75'' or 86'' and a load capacity of up to 120 kg. In addition, whiteboard wings, a soundbar and other accessories can be easily installed and retrofitted at any time. Balancing weights can be added using the integrated weight basket. Thanks to TÜV and GS certification, the whiteboard is always safe to use in the classroom.

Mounting options

In addition to the various height adjustment options, systems can also be mounted in different ways. Wall and floor mounting are suitable for permanently installed systems, while mobile trolleys allow for spatial flexibility.

Wall mounting

Wall mounting is a suitable option if only an interactive display is to be mounted. Most walls cannot support complete board systems due to their heavy weight.

Floor-wall mounting

If you want to install an entire pylon system with an interactive display and panel wings, floor-wall mounting is a suitable option. The pylon system is attached to both the floor and the wall to optimise weight management and stability.

Mobile system

A mobile system is ideal for rooms with a variety of uses. It allows maximum flexibility as it can be used in different locations. A flat floor and sufficient manoeuvring space are necessary to make optimum use of the system.

Classic boards

The integration of traditional whiteboard w ings enables supplementary teaching methods in addition to the digital solutions. Traditional chalkboards or whiteboards can be attached to the pylon systems as whiteboard wings, enabling a multimodal teaching strategy. This enables a clever combination of digital and analogue content and creates a versatile and adaptable learning environment.

With the different rulings, you can adapt the whiteboard wings perfectly to your needs - whether lined or chequered. Other rulings are available on request.

No two lessons are the same!

For interactive whiteboard systems to be used successfully, teachers need to be trained in their technical and didactic use in addition to being equipped with hardware and software. Adequate teaching materials must be made available. Various online databases offer a solution for this. However, if teachers want to use existing materials, these may need to be adapted for digital use. Teachers should organise the use of digital boards in such a way that they are not too teacher-centred and the collaborative possibilities can be fully exploited.

Interactive whiteboard systems in use

Digital whiteboard systems offer numerous options for dynamic and effective education. They enable collaborative learning, hybrid teaching models and customised pedagogical approaches. What can modern teaching scenarios look like in practice?

Collaborative learning

Teachers are increasingly using Apple tablets or Microsoft laptops in lessons. Pupils can also work individually with their own devices. The content created can be easilypresented on the interactive whiteboard in the classroom using screen sharingand developed further together. Annotations and notes can be added.

This method of collaborative learning not only promotes teamwork, but also makes it possible to use popular learning appssuch as Quizlet, Kahoot, Menti and Moodle in the classroom. Furthermore, there are various editing options that make lessons from primary school to upper school varied and effective.

Customisable lessons

Thanks to their technical diversity, interactive whiteboard systems enable a wide range of teaching methods. In combination with conventional blackboards or whiteboards, they offer educators a comprehensive repertoire of design options - from digital videos and interactive presentations to traditional blackboard images.

This flexibility allows the entire learning environment to be customised so that both whole classes and individual students can follow personalised learning paths.

Conference and presentation mode

If the interactive whiteboard is equipped with a PC, a camera, microphones and loudspeakers, it can also be used for video conferencing. A particular strength of this configuration is the realisation of hybrid teaching models. This allows students and pupils to seamlessly participate in classroom interactions remotely.

The system can also be used to invite external experts and conduct digital guest lectures, ensuring high quality video and audio transmission. This allows the teaching programme to be expanded in a meaningful way, external perspectives are brought in and the attractiveness of the lessons is increased.

The most important advantages over conventional boards

The digital whiteboard combines functions that previously had to be performed by several components, thereby ensuring greater interactivity and enormous time savings. Discover the countless possibilities that modern digital whiteboard systems offer you to take your teaching to a new level.
