The embedder supports the full HDMI 2.0 bandwidth of 18GBit/s for playback of 4K UHD resolutions up to  4096x2160@60Hz and also passes the data for the REC.2020 colour space, which supports the wider colour palettes required for HDR (High Dynamic Range) content with greater contrast dynamics. HDCP -2.2 support makes this device ideal for use with the latest source devices, including set-top boxes, games consoles and media players. With support for multi-channel audio including Dolby Digital 5.1 via optical outputs and analogue 3.5mm stereo connections, the device features impressive three-dimensional surround sound quality to complement movies, games and music. High bit rate HDMI audio pass-through enables playback of high-resolution audio files without compression.
