TP-Link TL-WA801N Wireless access point, N standard, 300 Mbps

The TL-WA801N Wireless Access Point is designed to build or expand a fast, scalable wireless network based on the N standard. It also allows devices such as game consoles, digital media adapters (DMAs), printers or network storage devices to be connected to the wireless network. The access point provides access to many useful features that make it easy and convenient to manage network resources, download files, play games, stream videos and perform many other activities that require an Internet connection.

Wireless N transmission – high speed and range

Using the IEEE 802.11n standard, the device supports MIMO (Multi Input Multi Output) technology, which allows two antennas to be used simultaneously to send and receive data. This reduces signal loss due to data transmission over long distances or physical obstacles encountered by the transmitted signal. This significantly improves the performance of the wireless network, even in buildings with concrete or steel structures. In addition, it is possible to establish a remote connection to the wireless network, which is not possible with the 11g standard.

Multiple operating modes – easy setup of WLAN networks

The access point has several operating modes (access point, client, multi-SSID, signal booster), making it a multifunctional device with a wide range of applications. In addition, it allows a wireless network signal to be brought to locations where structured cabling cannot be installed and where Internet use was previously not possible.
