In developing this product, we’ve especially taken our customers’ wishes and feedback to heart, significantly improving the projector screen in terms of technical specs, internal features, and external appearance.

The new celexon UST High Contrast Floor Scissor Projector Screen - HomeCinema Plus is now much better prepared for integration into or mounting onto furniture.
In combination with a modern ultra short throw projector, it becomes a true laser TV and thus a real alternative to traditional TVs, which can disrupt your interior design when not in use.

The key feature remains: When not in use, the screen surface disappears almost entirely from view, as the projector screen does not need to be mounted on the wall or ceiling, but instead disappears into or behind your lowboard. This allows you to achieve the dream of a rollable 80–120” TV that’s only visible when in use.

Increasingly large images are hard to combine with traditional projector screens or TVs when aiming for a high-end living room aesthetic. Visually, a TV >75” often appears unattractive when turned off, disrupting your interior decor and taking up wall space that could be better designed or used for other furnishings.

With our new CLR floor scissor projector screen and a UST projector, you can elegantly overcome this problem. The streamlined housing design is not only easier to integrate into or onto furniture compared to the previous version but also fits beautifully into minimalist spaces.

Celexon’s new floor scissor projector screen offers smart features that provide significant visual and technical advantages over similar products from other brands.

One highlight is the newly developed electric housing flap powered by a separate motor. It protects the projector screen from environmental influences when not in use, maintains a discreet look in the room or furniture, and makes a strong impression from the very first second the screen rises.

For integration into a lowboard, our new floor scissor projector screen features invisibly integrated carrying handles within the housing, allowing you to simply and securely place the screen from above. It can also be easily removed should you want to install new or additional AV components or lay new cables.

Just as smart and useful is our improved scissor joint mechanism. Highly durable die-cast aluminum alloy joints ensure an extremely long service life and many thousands of up/down movement cycles. With celexon’s HomeCinema Plus Series floor scissor projector screens, you’ll experience years of cinematic enjoyment.

In addition to all the external and mechanical upgrades, we also focused on our CLR high contrast fabric. A newly developed, microscopically small light grid structure produced using innovative manufacturing techniques delivers up to 20% brighter images, noticeably more “punch” and color contrast, making it more suitable than ever as a true TV replacement in your living room.

We significantly increased the number of direction-reflecting lamellas on the fabric, enhanced the coating of the upper sections that absorb and deflect ambient light, and thus achieve outstanding projection images in nearly all lighting conditions. When we consider the principle of diffuse reflection, it becomes evident—especially when comparing to LED TVs—that diffusely reflected projection light on a projector screen, which doesn’t actively emit light itself, is less fatiguing to the eyes and thus more comfortable, according to current scientific findings.

A Laser TV with the new UST floor scissor projector screen from celexon is not only easy on the eyes, it’s good for them.

Modern ultra short throw projection also benefits from maximum image contrast and the deepest possible black levels. For the “OLED” effect, a contrast fabric like the one from celexon’s CLR HomeCinema Plus Series is essential, as it significantly improves black levels. In addition, stray and residual light is minimized—ceiling light in particular can be reduced by up to 90%.

Celexon’s black grid CLR high contrast fabric greatly enhances the image quality of UST (Ultra Short Throw) projectors: The unique, multi-layer fabric design visibly boosts black levels and effectively reduces the “grey haze” caused by ambient light. Ambient light is actively directed away from or absorbed by the screen surface, enabling high-contrast images even under residual light conditions (lamps or daylight). You’ll be amazed by the massive image size as a TV replacement—saving you the cost of a separate TV.

Our new “micron scale black grid” UST contrast fabric is perfectly suited for all common (Full HD & 4K) and future projector resolutions up to 8K due to its unique structure. A key feature is the unrestricted viewing angle stability of up to 170 degrees, allowing everyone on the couch to enjoy a true big-screen TV experience without compromise.

With the new series, we continue to offer both the proven black finish—perfect for dedicated home cinema rooms—and a subtle white color option for living rooms and meeting rooms, of course at no extra charge.

Our proven tensioning system ensures a perfectly flat surface essential for ultra short throw projection—no annoying curling at the edges. For even better tension across the surface, we’ve designed the side tension tabs with a concave cut. You’ll enjoy a smooth, undisturbed image.

On top of that, we’ve thoroughly reworked the fabric coating, achieving a unique softness thanks to new material blends in the backing. This prevents horizontal stripes and marks from the roller tube or adhesive points.

celexon installation tips: For ease of use, our experts recommend using a trigger connection. The required USB trigger cable is included and can be connected to a USB-compatible ultra short throw projector, enabling the screen to automatically rise and lower with projector power on/off.

The included mounting brackets are adjustable by +/- 1.5°. Use this feature to perfectly align your projector screen with your projector—eliminating the need for image-degrading digital keystone correction and delivering pixel-perfect images at full native resolution.

Installation:

Our electric floor scissor projector screen can be safely, easily, and quickly installed. 

You have the choice: Simply place the projector screen on the floor, on or behind your sideboard, or mount it to the wall, plug it in, and it’s ready to go. For an even more discreet installation, the straight-line housing can be integrated into a piece of furniture of your choice—the side-mounted control units and power connection require minimal space and do not protrude. The integrated carrying handles make handling much easier.
