Solutions for business customers

Outdoor displays for POS and POI use

Outdoor displays are mostly used for digital signage and as information terminals. They can be used either as a display surface for product advertising or as interactive information stands.

Content

Depending on the size and location, they are either mounted with the help of a display holder or embedded in objects and surfaces together with the protective housing. Displays for outdoor use must meet a number of requirements: They must be bright enough to stand up to daylight, be protected against environmental influences and, if necessary, also against vandalism, and have a functional design. Ask us about the solution that is right for you!

Brightness

Image resolution

Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) in 16:9 format or 4K (3,840 x 2,160) in 16:9 format.

Content Player

For the playback of various contents, the display should have an integrated content player. If the supported media of the player are not sufficient, you can use an external signage player. When installing in a pedestal, make sure that the pedestal offers enough space for the integration of the player.

Expert Tip:

When installing an outdoor display, make sure that the image surface is protected from external influences. In addition to weather influences, vandalism is a particularly important issue. If you use steles, make sure that the display surface is provided with a sufficiently strong protective glass.

Power

Every room has its own requirements for audio components. This is especially true outdoors. In an outdoor application, it is important to ensure optimal sound quality and speech intelligibility.

Sound quality

Two speaker combinations are common in home and professional use. Complete soundbars combine all speakers in one cabinet. They reproduce the full spectrum of an audio signal within their frequency range. Modular systems each transmit a separate frequency range. This results in countless possibilities (e.g. tweeter/midrange units + bass unit). The quality of the speakers, the frequency range, their arrangement and placement are decisive for optimal sound quality.

Operability

The operability is adapted to your needs. Audio systems can either be tailored to a specific room situation or adapted to changing situations. This results in very different requirements for the control of an audio installation. This is done centrally via a permanently installed control panel, via several end devices via app or via comprehensive media control.

Expert Tip:

A high-quality audio setup is important! The human brain combines visual and auditory sensory stimuli. The playback quality of an audio system enhances the listener's perception and increases overall intelligibility.
