Brightness

7,000 lumens (minimum) for LCD projectors and 8,000 lumens (minimum) for DLP projectors for a screen width of approximately three metres in a room that is only partially darkened.

Assembly

The projector is installed on the ceiling with a ceiling mount or in a lift if the ceiling is suspended. The screen is also optimally integrated into the ceiling. Otherwise, the installation is done on the ceiling.

Configuration

Expert Tip:

High brightness projectors that also offer a 4K resolution are still quite limited in numbers. This means they are still quite expensive. Projectors with a 4K scaling are also available as installation projectors and deliver an attractive image in an acceptable price range, which is recognisably above the Full HD resolution.

Connections

In the meantime, notebooks and tablets are provided with a multitude of graphic connections. It is therefore important that a desk connector panel offers as many interfaces as possible so that it can accept the signals. For desk connector panels with few ports, it is advisable to keep adapters available separately.

Mains connections

In desk connection panels, power connections are an important point in addition to the connections for signal transmission. Visitors like to charge their notebooks or tablets during a longer work meeting. Therefore, make sure that there is more than one mains connection in the table tank.

Configuration

Expert Tip:

In many cases, it is no longer necessary to run the individual cable harnesses from the desk to the projector or display . Connect a switch behind the desk connection point in which you merge the signals. Now you only need to lay an HDMI and LAN cable(HDBaseT) to the display. This saves several cable harnesses and unnecessarily large cable ducts.

Power

A large seminar room, a meeting room, a small classroom or even an impressive high-end home cinema. Every room has its own requirements for audio components. In addition to the electrical power handling capacity, the efficiency of a loudspeaker is important. Efficiency indicates in decibels how loud a loudspeaker is at one watt at a distance of one metre.

Sound quality

Two speaker combinations are common in home and professional use. Complete soundbars combine all speakers in one cabinet. They reproduce the full spectrum of an audio signal within their frequency range. Modular systems each transmit a separate frequency range. This results in countless possibilities (e.g. tweeter/midrange units + bass unit). The quality of the speakers, the frequency range, their arrangement and placement are decisive for optimal sound quality.

Operability

The operability is adapted to your needs. Audio systems can either be tailored to a specific room situation or adapted to changing situations. This results in very different requirements for the control of an audio installation. This is done centrally via a permanently installed control panel, via several end devices via app or via comprehensive media control.
