Collaboration boards differ from interactive touch displays in that the former combine a video conferencing camera, speakers and microphones in one device in addition to a touch display. This is also referred to as an all-in-one device. With interactive touch displays, these components must be purchased separately and connected to the display.
The integration of touch display, camera, microphone and loudspeakers in one device makes setting up video conferences much easier. Systems such as the Logitech Rally Board or the Neat Board offer high-quality video and audio directly in the device. This means that these devices are ready for use much more quickly than a combination of separate components and are also much more mobile, so that the devices can also be used in different rooms.
Different mounting options are available depending on the device and manufacturer. Thanks to the VESA mounting points, devices can be mounted either on a wall bracket, on a stand or on a mobile trolley. Special stands or trolleys are available for many devices, which offer additional functions or a design that matches the board.
