Our gaming projector recommendations

PS4 Projector

It is no longer possible to imagine living rooms without gaming consoles. In terms of appearance, it matches the other AV components and thus integrates perfectly into the living room.

The Playstation 4 or Playstation 4 Pro is a console that is primarily aimed at gamers. It was originally planned as a multimedia console. Starting with the 8 core AMD Jaguar processor, which has been upgraded for gaming performance, to the graphics chip with 1.84 TFLOPS and the latest GDDR5 system memory. The Playstation 4 Pro even offers 4.2 TFLOPS, which sets it noticeably apart from the normal PS4. This also gives game developers a powerful tool at their fingertips. This graphic splendour is output to the projector via HDMI. The games usually run in Full HD and come across best in combination with a projector and a screen.

Games have a completely different effect when presented on a large screen. The console can also score points in the playback of 3D Blu-rays. Since the system software update 1.75, the PlayStation 4 can also play 3D Blu-Ray films. Therefore, the combination Projector PS4 makes even more sense, because in addition to excellent gaming experiences, you can also watch the latest Hollywood 3D Blu-rays with your friends in your home cinema. Especially in Blu-ray mode, the PS4 is quiet and hardly noticeable even during very quiet film scenes. This is of course incredibly important for the home cinema enthusiast, especially in quiet moments and scenes. The PS 4 is definitely audible under full load during gaming, but fortunately not during filming.
A 4K projector also makes sense for the Playstation 4 in the meantime, as it supports streaming services such as Netflix, which already stream content in 4K. If you are looking for a projector for the PS4 Pro, you can now safely go for a 4K projector.

If you look at the current consoles according to their performance, the following ranking emerges:
  1. Playstation 4 Pro
  2. Xbox One S
  3. Playstation 4
  4. Xbox One

This means that the PS4 or PS4 Pro projector combination is optimal for gamers.
